Arviota Julmustista ja glögistä / Comments about julmust and glögg

Tutustuin tähän ruotsalaisten joulujuomaan Julmustiin. Olen maistanut kahta eri merkkiä ja ihan hyvästä juomasta on kyse. Juoma muistuttaa hieman Cokista, mutta juomassa on jokin oma vivahteensa. Ehkä juuri vivahteen vuoksi se on hyvää ja koukuttavaa. Hyvin on viikonlopussa näyttänyt menevän 1.4 litran julmust-pullo. En kyllä tiedä onko juoma erityisen jouluisaa. Juomasta tulee jatkuvasti mieleen sima. Olisikohan näillä kahdella juomalla jotakin yhteyttä? Julmust tosin on tummaa kuin cokis ja sima on puolestaan valkoviinin väristä. Hmmm...

I tried this Swedish x-mas drink, Julmust. Now I tasted to two different brands of julmust. Julmust is a bit similar with Coke, but there is some own flavor. Maybe that's the reason why it's so popular. I bought 1.4 liter bottle of julmust and it's all gone. So maybe it's good then, but I'm not so sure is it especially x-mas drink. I associate julmust with mead. Do they have any connection? The color of julmust is similar with coke and the color of mead is similar with white wine. Hmmm...

Ostin alkuviikosta myös paikallista vaaleaa glögiä, Blossa Glögg. Se oli kyllä parempaa kuin koto-Suomen kanssasisaret. Silmään on pistänyt se, että kaikki ruokakaupan glögit ovat ollee noin parin prosentin vahvuisia. Vasta lauantaina paikallisesta konditoriosta löysin täysin alkoholitonta glögiä. Ostin Blossan punaista glögiä seuraavaan testiin.

On Tuesday I bought Swedish glögg called Blossa Glögg. It tasted better than Finnish ones. I noticed that it's really hard to find non-alcoholig glögg from here. Allmost every glögg contains some alcohol, like 2%. On Saturday, I found the non-alcoholic glögg from the local cafe. I bought the red Blossa glögg for testing.
