Kuinka monta johtoa näyttö tarvitsee? / How many cables you need for the screen?

Perjantai toivoa täynnä. Perjantaiaamulla huomasin, että kaipaamani näyttö on saapunut Västeråsin maaperälle. Jippii, ei tarvitsekaan olla ilman konetta viikonloppuna. Epätoivo meinasi iskeä näyttöä metsästettäessä. Voisi luulla, että yrityspostipalvelut olisivat viitoitettu selvästi, mutta hahaa eipäs olekaan. Keskellä sateista ja pimeää iltaa metsästimme postia, joka oli rakennuksen takapuolella. Tiellä oli pieni kyltti, joka viitoitti tietämme. Innostuin, että löysimme paikan vihdoinkin. Työkaverini totesi, että hän ei ole koskaan käynyt paikassa. Spontaanivastaukseni kuului: älä välitä, en minäkään. No, on varmaan monta muutakin paikkaa täällä missä en ole käynyt :)

Friday is full of hope. On the Friday morning I noticed that the screen has landed to Västerås! Yippii, I don't have to be without the computer. I was desperate when we looked for the post office. You may think, that the route to the post office for companies would be easy to find. You wish, the post office was on the back side of a building and it had a small sign. And it was dark and rainy evening. After we found the place, my co-worker said that she has never been here. My spontaneous answer was: don't mind, I haven't been here either. Well, I think here are many other places that I haven't visited.

Tämän jälkeen vaadittu paketti ei meinannut löytyä, koska siinä oli ensin yrityksen nimi ja sen jälkeen vasta työkaverini nimi. Meinasin jo hermostua; mitä joudunko keksimään muuta aktiviteettia tulevan myrskyn ajaksi? Lopulta paketti löytyi ja nyt nenä kohti kämppiä ruutu kainalossa.Mainittakoon vielä, että postista tullessamme huomasimme auton oven olevan auki ;) Työkaverini oli jättänyt oven epähuomiossa auki.

The officer couldn't find the packet at first, oh my god where is it...? There was first company name and then my co-workers name on the label. Yeps, I almost get nervous if I have to be the whole stormy weekend without my computer. Finally, the packet was found and we head to my cottage. When we got out from the post office, we noticed that the car door was open. Hmmm... my co-worker didn't closed it before getting in the post office.

Kämpillä availin pakettia ja koin hämmennyksen hetkiä, koska paketti sisälsi 7 erilaista johtoa! Krääh, tarvitsen vain kaksi tai kolme! Hehee, käyttäjäystävällisesti manuaali on cd:llä. No mitenkäs sitä nyt käyttäisi kun ei ole sitä näyttöäkään. Rehtinä humanistina selvitin mitkä johdot kuuluvat näyttööni ja loput laitoin pakettiin. Johtoja oli erilaisille liitännöille koneen ja näytön välillä ja kolme erilaista töpselivaihtoehtoa. Sekä kaapeli äänelle, joka onkin ihan kiva. Nyt Irinat eivät särise korvaan kannettavan onnettomasta kaiuttimesta.

In the cottage I opened the packet and confused for a while. The packet contained 7 different cables! Krääh, I need two or three. Hih, the manual was in the CD, how user-friendly thing. How I post to use it when I don't have the screen installed. As a former art student I managed to figure out which cables I need. There was cables for different plug-ins between the screen and PC and 3 different plugs for power point. And one cabel for music that is nice. Now I dont't have to listen Irina as an awful mono sound.

Sain näytön toimivaan ongelmitta ja kaikki on nyt vallan mainiosti. Kipaisin vielä kauppaan ennen työkaverin visiittiä. Perjantai-ilta sujuilikin sopivasti neulontaa opettaessa. Ulkopuolinen olisi varmaan kuollut kielenkäyttöömme. Englantia ja ruotsia sopivasti sekaisin. "And now you can sticka avigmaskor". Oppilaalla oli selvästikin taustat olemassa, koska neulominen sujui sen verran mallikkaasti. Maanantaina esiteltyyn tuotokseen oli kyllä ilmestynyt 3 lisäsilmukkaa. Onkos se nyt niin nuukaa ;) Maanantaina totesimme työkaverin neulontakäsialan olevan melko tiukkaa, joten kävimme tänään ostamassa hieman paksummat puikot hänelle. Toivottavasti homma lähtee nyt käyntiin.

I needed just plug-and-play the screen. I went to grocery store before my co-worker came to visit me. Basically, we knitted the whole evening. Outsider would be dead now, because our language was quite funny. Mix uo of English and Swedish: "And now you can sticka avigmaskor". My student was way too good, because she knew how to knit! She showed her knitting on Monday and there was 3 extra stitches. Who cares? ;) We noticed that her knitting was quite tight, so we went today to buy a little bigger needles. Hopefully, it goes better now.
