Mälarenin rannalla / On the shore of Mälaren

Aurinko paistoi viime sunnuntain (13.1.), joten päätin lähteä kävelylle Mälarenin rannalle. Västeråsissa ei voi olla törmäämättä kaupungin mainokseen: Västerås Mälarstaden eli Västerås Mälarenin rannalla. Tai, ainakin tulkitsen mainoksen näin.
The sun was shining last Sunday (13 th Jan.) and I decided to take a walk on the shore of the lake Mälaren. You'll see the city slogan for sure while visiting Västerås. The city's slogan: Västerås Mälarstaden that means Västerås locates on the shore of the lake. Oh well, at least I interpret it that way.
